Update December 20th:

Framed 6 more prints today, you can see all the prints that are framed and ready for the show below.  Also, I would like to thank whoever bought 2 postcards of very much appreciated!    

I’ve hinted around with a few of you about something exciting I get to do next year and now it’s time to tell you what it is!  Earlier this year, I was chosen as one of 9 artists to display my work at the Foellinger-Freimann Botanical conservatory!  [link] work will be displayed during July and August.  Normally they select 12 artists, 2 for each 2 month period, but since they use one of the rooms for different things during the year, they will only have one artist on display during those months.  It just so happens that I will be the only artist there for July and August.  I will have a room all to myself!

Now comes the fun part!  I’ve sold my pictures for years as prints here and as stock, but I’ve never ordered enlargements of my own prints for myself.  So, last weekend, $ewm gave me a matting and framing lesson.  Her Dad, ~simon2414 is letting us use his brand new mat cutter and it’s going to make my work a whole lot easier.  Last weekend, I framed 2-8x12’s and 1-16x24.  When deviantART had free shipping on prints in October, I ordered most of the prints I will be using in the show.  Below you can see what I have planned so far and what sizes they will be.  As they are matted and framed, I will put them at the bottom under, Ready for the Show!  Also, in case anyone is in the area at the time, they will have a reception for me on July 11th from 1-3pm.  At that time, I will also have 4x6’s in protective sleeves for sale as well.  Hope I get to see some of you there!
